Campus Access
Rice University is continually improving access to campus facilities. The following list details just some of the efforts Rice has made towards complete accessibility.

General Access:
- All academic and administrative buildings are wheelchair accessible (except Lovett Hall and Mech Lab).
- Assisted listening systems are available in numerous lecture rooms, concert and performance halls.
- Accessible eating areas are located in all college commons.
- Automatic door openers are installed on many building entrances.
Wheelchair accessible areas are common and include:
- Stacks and study areas at Fondren Library (book retrieval services are available for less-accessible areas)
- Student residences
- Computer facilities through campus
- Campus shuttle buses
Parking on Campus:
There are ample accessible parking spaces located all around the campus. Visitors can review locations of parking lots and designated accessible spaces on the Rice Campus Access Map. For concerns about where to find accessible spaces, contact the Parking Office at 713-348-7275.
